Day of the Dead Parade
THE NAVEL OF THE MOON

This will be the first year that the Day of the Dead Grand Parade will come to the Zócalo at night, which the public has never seen before. For this reason, we have decided that this year’s concept will be: the queen of the night, “THE MOON”, which accompanies us throughout the tribute to the dead to watch over and celebrate the lives of those who have passed away. This year they will not only accompany us that night, but also in the parade. In the name of our country there is a great denotation to the moon. Since this was pronounced “MEXICO” and means
“In the navel of the moon”.
